10 Values that Gojek instills on its employees

Have you ever wondered what traits and values are sought after by HR gurus from top companies? Have you looked into some jobs and wonder if you are the right fit? Or perhaps maybe even base your final decision on culture rather than the role itself?

Are you a recent graduate who is looking for opportunities in startups?

Maybe a college student looking for internships? Or even a seasoned veteran who is looking to take a leap of faith and pursue a new career path?

Currently, I am fortunate enough to be working for Gojek Indonesia’s first Decacorn (is a word used for those companies over $10 billion) as a Growth Hacker for the 3PP or Third-Party Platform team. In this short article, I will be giving you folks a little sneak peek into Gojek’s cultures and best practices that morphed this startup into a globally leading Tech Giant it is today!

  • Trusts their team

  • Learns independently and shares knowledge

Now this might seem like a lot but I did not join Gojek having these ten values rather less than a handful, and even now I am still working on a lot of them! But through this journey I’ve learned to be much more data-driven, accepting of radical candor, and collaborate with the greatest talents in Southeast Asia!

Nevertheless, don’t forget to have fun and enjoy the process!
